Philstar.com, the leading Filipino web portal providing the most extensive information and entertainment content for the Filipino global community, and 2TadeAsia.com, the Philippines' first complete trading and financial planning tool, recently entered into a content-sharing agreement.

Under the terms of agreement, 2TradeAsia.com shall be the exclusive manager of the Money Section of philstar.com, providing their wide audiences access to updated relevant and significant financial data and information in real-time. The memorandum of agreement was signed Nov. 8, 2002.

"2TradeAsia.com's content will be used for the Money, Business and Business Features sections of philstar.com," according to Kevin Belmonte, president of philstar.com. "With 2Trade.Asia.com's information and end-to-end online solution, we promote intelligent investing and assist in the development of the local equities market."

The collaboration is seen as another plus for the Filipino Global Community as two Philippine Internet leaders enhance their services and reach their respective markets with more relevant information through shared content.

Christine Yap, chief executive officer of Yapster e-Trade Inc., echoed the sentiment. "This partnership will put philstar.com's online readers on a higher platform of awareness where business opportunities are within reach. Yap added that content sharing would complement both parties, saying further, "The rich content and features of philstar.com and its large readership base will prove to be beneficial in expanding the market reach of 2TradeAsia. The content sharing agreement will also allow 2TradeAsia to enhance the depth and range of information provided to users who will now gain access to philstar.com's site."

2TradeAsia.com's financial services include free real-time stock quotes, daily corporate updates and market commentaries. Yapster e-Trade Inc.'s website was awarded pioneers status by the Board of Investment last January 26, 2001. 2TradeAsia.com is a member of Yapster e-Conglomerate Inc.
